Gatekeeper Gabriel Rosado produced an incredible, unexpected one-punch knockout of Bektemir Melikuziev on Saturday night.
The highly rated Uzbek prospect was expected to breeze through his veteran opponent, but things did not go to plan.
In the opening round, Bek floored Rosado with a body shot and all seemed well.
The Uzbek continued his dominance through round two and was consistently pummelling the older man into the third session.
However, in an instant his entire career changed.
Rosado caught him with a perfect counter right which saw him fall face first onto the canvas.
He was unable to recover.
Rosado said after the big upset: “I feel great. We put the work.
“When he put me down, that body shot was vicious, but I went to the corner and said, ‘You know what? This is the price you’ve gotta pay if you wanna win. Get up and let’s go.’
“He’s a strong body puncher. He caught me because I was trying to time him.
“I went down, I knew I could get him back.
“I just timed him, as soon as he started loading up, I caught him.
“I knew when I walked him to the corner he was going for my body, I stepped to the right, caught him with an overhand right and that’s it.
“It was just pure heart and a will to win.
“I was like, ‘F*** that, I’m not going home with an L.’”
