Simone Biles’ Olympic Games at Tokyo 2020 is NOT over, with the gymnastics star set to compete in the balance beam final.
USA Gymnastics has confirmed the 24-year-old will return to action on Tuesday.
Biles has made headlines at the Olympics by pulling out of several events to protect her mental health.
The American star has so far withdrawn from five of the six finals she qualified for in Tokyo, citing the ‘twisties’ – a mental block which she says is currently stopping her from competing safely and to the best of her ability.
But she will now have one last chance to end her 2020 Games with a gold in the balance beam, with Team USA confirming her appearance in the final.
We are so excited to confirm that you will see two U.S. athletes in the balance beam final tomorrow – Suni Lee AND Simone Biles!! Can’t wait to watch you both!

Biles won bronze in the balance beam at the Rio 2016 Olympics, but is the reigning world champion having collected the gold medal in Stuttgart in 2019.
