President Donald Trump slammed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi as a “sick puppy” following comments she made suggesting his actions in dealing with the coronavirus crisis have been “deadly.” The President responded to Pelosi’s attack during a phone interview with Fox & Friends Monday morning. “She’s got a lot of problems and that’s a horrible thing to say,” Trump fumed, before noting that it was his actions very early on that saved lives. “I stopped some very, very infected, very, very sick people, thousands coming in from China, long earlier than anybody thought, including the experts, nobody thought we should do it except me,” he insisted. Sick Puppy Pelosi, in an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper this weekend, compared President Trump to the Roman Emperor Nero and implied that Democrats might embark on another investigation of his actions. “What did he know and when did he know it?” Pelosi asked. “That’s for an after-action review.
